Shaqyla is a cheerful and enthusiastic student throughout each class session. She shows strong communication skills; she not only understands a wide range of complex instructions from the tutor, but is also able to respond with light negotiation or clarification as an output. Shaqyla can clearly express what she has already understood and what she still finds difficult, which indicates growing confidence in her ability to communicate.
In reading, Shaqyla is able to identify the main ideas in a paragraph. She is expressive and can present an article with appropriate intonation and accurate use of punctuation. In listening, she does not experience significant difficulty in following the flow of the conversations presented in class, as seen from her ability to answer the tutor’s questions related to the audio.
In speaking, Shaqyla is confident enough to share her ideas, although she sometimes feels shy about expanding the topics of discussion, so this is still an area for further practice. However, her pronunciation is already good and continues to improve with each session. With this potential, the tutor is confident that Shaqyla will be able to become fluent in English.
