I see a lot of potential in Jamal as an English learner. He gets excited when he sees an opportunity to participate in the classroom and show off his skills. He is constantly being challenged to learn new words every day in class. His confidence in his English-speaking skills is improving as he practices it and uses it everyday. His reading is well-paced. Jamal is a strong and ambitious learner, so I expect to see improvement in his English abilities.
