Overall, Astrid is a beginner learner, but she has made lovely progress—especially in confidence. She is now more willing to speak in English, can read quite well, and has gained more vocabulary than before. Her grammar and listening are also developing steadily.

To improve her speaking, we will use more guided speaking with sentence starters (e.g., “I like… / I want… / I can…”), short daily “repeat after me” practice, and simple role-plays so she can speak more naturally; at home, Astrid can practice 5–10 minutes daily by reading aloud and recording 3–5 simple sentences about her day.

To improve her listening, we will use short audios/videos with repeated listening and key-word focus; at home, she can watch a 1–2 minute kids-friendly English video and answer 3 easy questions (What? Who? Where?) or retell it in 1–2 sentences. To improve her grammar, we will focus on one small target at a time (verb “to be,” simple present, basic word order) with lots of examples and quick drills; at home, she can do 5 short grammar questions, then make 3 sentences using the same pattern, and keep a small “grammar notes” list of her common mistakes and corrections.
