Overall, Kenzie has shown positive progress in Quanta. He really enjoys presenting and talking in English, and his confidence in speaking is growing well. His reading and listening skills have also developed nicely, and he can understand instructions and texts better than before. For writing, his ability is quite good and continues to improve, especially when he is guided step by step.

The main areas to improve are grammar accuracy and focus throughout the lesson, as he sometimes loses concentration which affects his performance during practice. To support his focus, it may help if Kenzie uses his own device during Zoom time, and in class we will use shorter activity blocks, quick check-ins, and more interactive speaking tasks to keep him engaged.

To improve his grammar, we will focus on one target point at a time (for example: simple past, subject–verb agreement, or sentence structure), provide clear models, and give immediate correction with short practice drills such as using Quizizz. At home, Kenzie can practice grammar in a simple routine: review 1 grammar rule, do 5–10 short questions, then make 3–5 original sentences using the rule; he can also keep a “grammar notebook” to write common mistakes and the correct version, and do daily short writing (3–5 sentences) that we can check together in class. Kenzie is doing great, and with more consistent focus and grammar practice, his progress will be even faster—Keep Learning, Keep Shining!
